AlpClair Geneva, General Terms and Conditions of Service

1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions define the rights and obligations between AlpClair, a cleaning company based in Geneva (hereinafter “the Service Provider”), and any individual or legal entity requesting its services (hereinafter “the Client”).
2. Services Offered
AlpClair provides the following services, among others:
Regular cleaning (offices, apartments, buildings)
End-of-lease cleaning
Post-construction cleaning
Additional services ( cleaning of specific equipments, organization, etc.)
All services are defined by a prior quote or agreement.
3. Quotes and Orders
All quotes issued by AlpClair are valid for 30 days.
Orders are considered firm and final upon written confirmation (email or signature).
The Service Provider reserves the right to request a deposit of up to 30% of the total amount before work begins.
4. Pricing and Invoicing
Prices are quoted in Swiss Francs (CHF) and may be charged by the hour or per square meter, depending on the type of service.
Minimum billing may apply (e.g., 2 hours or CHF 100).
Invoices are payable within 10 days of issuance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Late payments may incur reminder fees and, in the case of prolonged non-payment, collection procedures.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Any cancellation or change must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance.
Late cancellations (<48 hours) may incur a 50% charge of the planned service.
If the Client fails to attend without notice, the service will be billed in full.
Obligations of the Service Provider
AlpClair commits to:
Deliver services professionally and thoroughly.
Use appropriate, environmentally friendly equipment and products whenever possible (unless the Client requests otherwise).
Respect the confidentiality of the Client’s premises and information.
7. Obligations of the Client
The Client commits to:
Grant access to the premises at the agreed times.
Notify the Service Provider of any specific requirements (alarms, sensitive areas, special rules).
Comply with payment terms.
8. Liability and Insurance
AlpClair holds professional liability insurance covering accidental material damage caused to the Client during service execution.
The Service Provider cannot be held liable in cases of force majeure (power outages, severe weather, inaccessible premises, etc.).
9. Complaints
Any complaint must be submitted in writing within 48 hours after service completion.
After this period, the service is considered accepted.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the contract with one month’s notice, except in cases of serious breach (non-payment, failure to meet obligations).
11. Data Protection
Personal information collected (name, contact details, address) is used solely to manage services and is never shared with third parties, except as required by law.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law.
Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of the Canton of Geneva.
